Fear and Loathing

Fear and Loathing is the hip and happnin' webcomic that celebrates the concept that the Universe is Entropy. It takes place in plane of existence that may or may not be a Suburb of Parallel Hell. The stars include:

  • The Damned Immortal Soul Of Richard M. Nixon.
  • Rob Roy Mc Gregor: who has parlayed his resemblance to "Morris The Cat®" into a career as an intraweb Bon Vivant and Socialist Gadfly (he also appears on my own website).
  • Stanley, The Goddam Bee Dog: He's proud to be another meatball on the Astral Gravy Train. He's hip to Entropy and digs it as a concept. He may be Zen, but ain't talkin' about it.
  • Bobbi Bunny Just 15 Days Old: Cute and sweet and able to h4x0r major computars w/ an XBOX®. Is Magickal and is rumoured to have a devastating Jet-Li Kung-Fu Grip. Weighs less than two pounds, physically, can be 800 lb gorilla of trouble.
  • Yuckie: The Kitten of Fate!: Appears to the casual viewer to be a regular cat child, but is as articulate as an adult. Alludes to previous or even concurrent existence, but isn't too specific on that.
  • Steve the Cat: His hobbies include whizzing on stuff, eating, and being hugely snarky.
  • Bob The Cat Child: Yuckie's brother.
  • (former)House Speaker Dennis Hastert: If the shame of a major scandal wasn't enough of a problem, his existence here in Parallel Hell is in the form of a huge stinky female Elephant Seal, courtesy of Bobbi Bunny.
  • The Late (Not So Great) Saddam Hussein: His soul was on the open market anyway, so Bobbi borrowed it and created a boyfriend for Hastert; While she was at it, she gave him the power to turn into an illegal aliem and to become invisible.
  • Generic Chartered Accountant: Sort of a villain, sort of not. Hangs out with his minion sheep and cooks the books.
  • Martha The Shar-Pei: She comes to hang out when not riding around in '64 Chevy Impalas with The Burkino Faso Marsupial Abatement Flying Squad, listening to King Sunny Ade Rilly LOUD.
  • Serious Cat: He's serious.
  • Snoop Moggy Mogg: The Famous Rapsta. Download his stuff on Napsta! Had a minor hit with 'Mice, Mice, Baby' in 1995, now hangs out in Parallel Hell, mostly to annoy Martha.
  • The Insomniac Wolf: Hastert's grinching keeps him awake. Hangs out with Bobbi, because he digs Magick.
  • Jimmy Carl Black: The Indian(feather, not dot) of the Group: Rob Roy and Bobbi gave him $100 and a beer. He plays poker with Saddam, Hastert and the Chartered Accountant, and does intermittent Minion Wrangling.
  • Maka Evil Kitty!: He's as evil as Serious Cat is Serious(not rilly, but don't tell!). Handsome and debonair, he's a real hit with the ladies!
  • Ryland Sanders: Decent, Hardworking Soul who once made the dreadful Karmic error of associating with the Evil, Dark and Fast Otto Yämamøto, and is now the unfortunate owner of a vortex to Parallel Hell h4X0r3d into his computer machine by Bobbi Bunny.

Scientists shocked to find their names on cliimate-change deniers list
"Dozens of scientists are demanding that their names be removed from a widely distributed Heartland Institute article entitled '500 Scientists with Documented Doubts of Man-Made Global Warming Scares.' ... DeSmogBlog manager Kevin Grandia emailed 122 of the scientists yesterday afternoon, calling their attention to the list. So far - in less than 24 hours - three dozen of those scientists had responded in outrage, denying that their research supports Avery's conclusions and demanding that their names be removed."
